Tech Meltdown.

I have often wondered how the world would react to a Global Tech Meltdown. Our lives are so built around technology that it has become the very pillar we build at the centre of our existence so if it collapses  then surely we will not have an easy trip and it will most definitely be downward. The worst hit will most likely be coffee hippies who value their coffee machine above all other possession and would make the incredible Hulk look well like less than incredible if they don’t get their morning happy cup.

This is what I imagine will happen.

Chaos and Tubers will riot as their favourite videos, those calming ,wacky sometimes painful online events go off the air.

Books will suddenly have a purpose, not just be a prop to impress the friends coming over…..who themselves most likely wish to impress you with their own variety of coloured titles.

I had my own not so dramatic tech meltdown .

In less than a year I lost 3 Tablet PCs, 1 iPhone, 3 digital cameras, 1 Acer Aspire laptop, Vaio Laptop, the screen of an HP an numerous little appliance calling it a day all due to freak accidents and one little Hurricane discovering the joy of taking tech apart to my horror of course. Yes, psychology is still very relevant especially if the Tube is down.

So how does one survive such a catastrophic event.? Can one…… 🙂 One thing is for certain, the world will be filled with conversation again.DSCN3512
