Last year my wife bought me a X-Box 360 with 2 free games and controls included. Heard so much about the XB and was really stoked. While later I tried the Battlefield 4 Beta which was a real blast and decided I had to get the game, no way I would miss out. Wife saw a great offer online with a steel case included so I finally got my copy and got right into it. Like the Beta the game play was totally enjoyable, smooth and with new dimensions to the game I had smashing fun. Just when the f-level came close to insane and the controller was glued solid to my hands my son bumped the XB and it took a hefty bite out of the disc.
Noticed that I was not the only one with this problem as numerous other gamers had the same thing happen to them and read that the company was not so keen to deal with the problem, most likely because of the imminent launch of the Big 1. Tried some cures but those darn circular scratches clung to the disk like they were cemented in. Finally discovered that Saturn, a local appliance firm, sand down the scratches but even they could not fix the damage so I have a disk worth close to 60 Euro that I cant use and I certainly will not be downloading the game, simply not on but at least the single player is still running and I wont be missing out completely.
